OWR Pool / Leaves
Lots of trees around your pool? Start with where the leaves are.
“Good for leaves” is too vague. A pool full of floating leaves can demand a different system from a pool where heavy debris has already sunk to the floor.
1. Floating leaves
A submerged cleaner can be excellent at floors, walls and waterline while doing nothing to collect leaves floating on the surface. Beatbot's AquaSense 2 is one example: its published coverage is floor, walls and waterline. “Surface parking” refers to retrieval, not surface cleaning.
2. One machine vs two
Some premium robots combine surface and submerged cleaning. Another approach is a submerged robot paired with a dedicated surface skimmer. Neither architecture is automatically better; the right answer depends on debris load and how much surface cleanup you want automated.
3. Don't ignore fine debris
A tree-heavy pool may also have pollen and fine particles. That means a large leaf basket alone doesn't settle the decision. Filtration specifications deserve their own check.
4. Let your pool eliminate the wrong options
Our Finder checks surface cleaning, pool type, size and coverage first, then compares the products that remain.
